At Black Press Media my main roles are:
• Providing comprehensive support to the marketing team on all aspects related to the company’s branding, encompassing both internal and external audiences.
• Creation and adaptation of sales materials for the commercial team, including IOs (insertion orders), media kits, presentations, and all necessary marketing support.
• Skilled in developing print and digital advertising materials and updating the company website through WordPress and Elementor.

Proudly Canadian Proudly You – Campaign
The Proudly Canadian, Proudly You Contest launched on July 1, 2025, offering over $17,000 in prizes — including airfare, accommodations, spa experiences, winery tastings, premium skincare, adventure tours, gas vouchers, and more.
Our initial goal was to reach 450,000 entries between July and December — a milestone achieved in September. Following that success, we raised the bar to 1 million entries by December, and we did it!
My role was:
Design logo and overall visual identity, and rollout of all supporting materials, including both digital and print assets.


Print ads
The print ads ran across the entire CMG newspaper network twice per month, from July through December.
We produced two versions: one designed as an editorial-style feature with an explanatory text, and another more general ad format. Both included QR codes directing readers to the highlighted contests featured in each ad.

Thumbnails
The contests, divided into six different prize packages, were displayed across all CMG Network sites (50+). As we transitioned into fall, small seasonal elements — like the subtle addition of leaves — were incorporated to ensure the visual communication aligned naturally with the time of year.

Social Media Ad
Social media ads were also created for each prize.
Over the course of the campaign, the creatives were subtly refreshed to avoid repetition and keep the content engaging.

Newsletter
Newsletters were sent out to boost entries to our network of more than 60,000 subscribers. Throughout the campaign, different creative approaches were used — sometimes spotlighting a specific prize package, sometimes highlighting the growing entry count, and other times leveraging a sense of urgency.
