Proudly Canadian Proudly You Campaign

2026 Concept Logo & Visual Identity · Digital & Print Assets · Campaign Rollout

The Proudly Canadian, Proudly You Contest launched on July 1, 2025, offering over $17,000 in prizes, including airfare, accommodations, spa experiences, winery tastings, premium skincare, adventure tours, gas vouchers, and more.

The concept was designed to attract local business sponsors while highlighting Canadian products and experiences, with the goal of supporting local businesses and helping stimulate the economy at a community level.

Our initial goal was to reach 450,000 entries between July and December — a milestone we achieved in September. Following that success, we raised the bar to 1M entries by December, and we did it.

As a result of the campaign’s success, we were honoured with the Upland Second Street Award in the Syndicated Promotion category. See the results below.

The print ads ran across the entire CMG newspaper network twice per month, from July through December.

We produced two versions: one designed as an editorial-style feature with an explanatory text, and another more general ad format. Both included QR codes directing readers to the highlighted contests featured in each ad.

Animated digital ads featured on all CMG Network sites.

Behind every campaign and product, there’s a brand. I was responsible for creating the visual identities for the company’s internal initiatives — from nationwide contests to internal tools — ensuring consistency across a large, multi-platform media network.

Newsletter Concept & Roll Out

Two audiences. One weekly rhythm.

I owned the concept, design, and content of newsletters for the visual identity, implementation, and content of weekly newsletters for both external audiences (a mailing list of 60,000+ subscribers) and internal communications (a mailing list of 400+ company employees), using Second Street and Mailchimp tools.
